12. Am Meer (Heine 하이네의 시)
Das Meer erglänzte weit hinaus
Im letzten Abendscheine;
Wir sassen am einsamen Fischerhaus,
Wir sassen stumm und alleine.
Der Nebel stieg, das Wasser schwoll,
Die Möwe flog hin und wieder;
Aus deinen Augen liebevoll
Fielen die Tränen nieder.
Ich sah sie fallen auf deine Hand,
Und bin aufs Knie gesunken;
Ich hab’ von deiner weissen Hand
Die Tränen fortgetrunken.
Seit jener Stunde verzehrt sich mein Leib,
Die Seele stirbt vor Sehnen; –
Mich hat das unglücksel’ge Weib
Vergiftet mit ihren Tränen.
12. By the sea
The sea glittered far and wide
in the sun’s dying rays;
we sat by the fisherman’s lonely house;
we sat silent and alone.
The mist rose, the waters swelled,
a seagull flew to and fro.
from your loving eyes
the tears fell.
I saw them fall on your hand.
I sank upon my knee;
from your white hand
I drank away the tears.
Since that hour my body is consumed
and my soul dies of longing.
That unhappy woman
has poisoned me with her tears.
12. 바닷가에서
바다에 저녁 햇빛이
떨어져 반짝일 때
외로운 오두막에 단 둘이
말없이 앉아 있었네.
안개 속에 물결 일고
갈매기 날며 울었네.
다정한 그대 두 눈에
눈물 가득 고였네.
그대 손, 눈물에 젖을 때
난 무릎을 꿇었네.
그대 하얀 손에 담긴
그 눈물을 마셨네.
그 순간부터 내 몸과 맘에
그리움이 퍼졌네.
가엾은 여인이 떨군
독약 같은 그 눈물로.
